Hey, I'm Annika*

I help organizations in the fields of science, education, and transformation address complex future-oriented issues using data-driven, visual, and participatory approaches.

My curiosity about complex abstract topics and big philosophical questions led me to earn a Ph.D. in astrophysics. And my passion for visually interpreting such complex topics and making them tangible led me to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design.

Today, I work at the intersection of data visualization, storytelling, and science communication. I’m fascinated by how data can be turned into stories, and I love presenting complex topics in a way that makes them understandable, visually engaging, and thought-provoking.

In my projects, I develop visualizations, interactive and participatory formats, and workshops that invite people to explore scientific topics on their own and get creative. Rather than simply conveying information, my goal is to create spaces where people can ask questions, experiment, and think together.
